I've been on the wrong planet!
Mon 13th Mar '06
Greetings, earthlings.
Hope everyone is well. I have discovered since my last blog entry that Auntie Ros has not been well at all. Really I guess I just assumed that the wedding weekend was all good, and I never cottoned on that one of Dad's SMS messages aluded to her hospital stay.
GET WELL SOON Auntie Ros! I hope you get some time to relax and get back to full health as soon as possible.
I must admit I was a little preoccupied this week and the moon could have fallen from the sky without me noticing. I have had yet another gruelling week at work. I've been pushing myself into fields I have no (or limited) knowledge of and that led to some failures... or at least poor results. I thought I had most of it sorted and then Uncle Rod was able to give me some help which pushed me pretty close to the end result working out but it turned out I had made some fundamental (beginners) mistakes and didn't get some of te electronics working. Not to worry, we've decided to employ an electronics engineer at work so that's those problems solved, he's already got that particular problem licked and God knows I have plenty of other stuff to keep him busy.
Today we went to Kempsey to solve a trailer identification issue we've been having but no go. Oh well, Edison said he invented 10,000 ways NOT to make a lighbulb before he invented one way to make a lightbulb. I am still a little hopeful it won't take me that many tries to get this thing going though, I am not sure I have his patience!
The up side is that due to starting work early, I knocked off early and get to spend the rest of this afternoon with Tracy.
So for now it's farewell but I will blog again soon, I have some photos to upload, including Dylan's first day of school and photos Tracy and I took, and some lightning shots I got. I promise I am not just too lazy to upload them, there are other contributing factors, including being busy, tired or... well, lazy I suppose.
Get well soon aunty Ros, we love you. Same goes for Uncle Graham who I hear is doing well and every one else, I hope you all are well too.
