The Return of the Paparazzi
Tue 12th Jun '07
Hi all... I guess there hasnt been enough interesting stuff going on to worry about blogging. Either that or I'm lazy. In fact, it's gotta be the former, there is plenty going on.
Tracy and I are making more wedding progress,
check out our wedblog for all the goss there. As part of our plans, we have bought our photographer... in fact, we bought the whole camera! Yes we have decided that rather than paying $900 for a photographer, we'd put $900 towards our very own digital SLR camera. We bought a Pentax K100D yesterday, and boy is it FLASH! We sprung for the wide angle and long zoom lenses, too, so Tracy and I will have lots of fun with it. We will sell our existing SLR and digital on ebay (or to whoever makes an offer). So now we'll be back to our snap-happy selves and most people who know us will no doubt get sick of the sight of it. Various camera-aware volunteers will be using the new camera at our wedding. BTW, Aaron from Camera House in Park Beach Plaza deserves a plug, he was very very helpful, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking to get a camera.
ITRiver is moving! I am moving ITRiver out of the house and into premises in the Clarence Business Centre, in Queen St. This will help Tracy and I in our search for a new home, because I will no longer need to give every place we look at the 'is it any good for business' treatment. We can look for a home, instead of a home business premises. This will help us find something within our meagre budget...
BREAKING NEWS: My mate Brocko is going to be a DAD! Congrats mate! Tracy and I are really happy for him, he's a great guy and we think fatherhood will bring a new happiness to his life.
For any locals who are interested in going to see Dylan play soccer, he has carnivals this coming sunday, and also the following sunday, both at Rushforth park I believe.
