Photo of the day
Thu 14th Jul '05
I will try to post a nice photo I have taken on my new digical camera regularly.
Heres the first, I took this while en route to Brisbane to meet my new niece, Lily. I had intended to get up earlier to take a photo of Mt Warning at dawn, but work kept me up late and I didn't leave Grafton in time. Fate must have been smiling on me though - when I got to Harwood I couldn't resist stopping to see how the bridge and sugar mill looked over a backdrop of a dawn sunset. I'm sure you'll agree - it looks spectacular.
I think this photo deserves the name "Rose coloured glasses" because here is a fine example of nature making a normally ugly bridge and industrial site look wonderful.

The images will be resized to 512x384 pixels so they load faster on the blog. Some might make nice desktop backgrounds, if you want one contact me and I'll send you a better quality 1024x768 version. I know this one looks great, I'm using it now.
